Thursday on the track

I didn’t actually run any intervals, I just wanted to scope out the track. It’s the closes publicly accessible track I’ve found in my neck of the woods, and it’s open until 10pm with LIGHTS! Lots of free street parking, the L is nearby (Green Line – Cermak), or it’s less than 2 miles from my place (perfect warm-up distance). Anyone up for a track date??

Sunday with the Pilsen Yoga Tribe

Yes, that was a baby in front of me. It’s community yoga, yo. The babe was really cute and not very fussy.

So … my knee is starting to kind of bug me again. It’s not to the point of pain, but my left knee definitely had moments of tenderness that my right knee does not have. I’m might dial back the mileage (because it’s so high, argh, knee!) and focus on more strength training again. I think I’m going to switch back to the 10-class ClassPass plan with the goal of doing megaformer and weightlifting each once per week. With some bonus yoga on top of all the free yoga. I guess I could also get back into the habit of doing my PT exercises most mornings, but why start now?
