Recap of January:

#1 – Go to the Sweatworking Week stuff I signed up for. I signed up for 4 events and made it to 3 of them. I really didn’t think this would be a hard goal … I tried to be realistic about what I signed up for.

#2 – Go to 10 ClassPass classes. Yes! Success. This happened. I felt so satisfied when I signed up for my 10th class and the app gave me a little pop-up asking if I wanted to purchase more. (No.)

#3 – Reading a freaking book, yo. Fail. I started a book, and when I realized I wasn’t going to make it to the book club meeting, I realized I wasn’t up for reading a memoir about being raped as a child 😦 Even if the reviews were good. Then I started Our Revolution by Bernie Sanders and as long as I don’t dwell on the present, I get lost in hope when I’m reading it.

#4 – Start a Bullet Journal. I started one. And did good for about 2-3 weeks. But between the many other ways I track things and journal and blog, it became just one more thing I’m not keeping up with, LOL. I think it might be more helpful to me to keep something like this at the office. Or maybe I need to figure out a way to make it more focused. I know there are endless ways to customize one, and I need to take the time to figure out what works for me.

#5 – Feel confident about my next solo. Success! I performed it last week and felt really good about it! I have very minor changes and just need to work on getting really comfortable with the act – and my face. I perform it again Feb 10th.

Goals are an important part of Bullet Journals 



Goals for February:

Read a book. How many months will this be a goal before it happens?

Crush it at work. I feel like I’m settling into my new role, and it’s going well, so now it’s time to start kicking ass.

Yoga/strength/run. At least one of each every week.  

Plan spring trips. I bought tickets for a Radiohead concert in Seattle (BFF Vera just moved there). Gotta plan the trip. And if you can believe it (because I can’t), our 10th wedding anniversary is coming up in April.

Lift more than 80 pounds. I lifted 80 a month ago. Let’s see if I can top it.
