My brothers’ best friend (and my friend too) just opened a brewery! It’s the Blue Island Beer Co. and as the name suggests, it’s in Blue Island. And the Grand Opening is in a couple of weeks – you should join us!
I hosted a clothing swap last weekend. There were only 5 of us, but it was still a success! And I got invited to another clothing swap next month, so hopefully I’ll find even more treasures there.

This week was my company conference. It kicked off Tuesday evening at the Chicago Cultural Center, and in addition to all of the delicious food and drinks and entertainment, there was a gal in a champagne skirt (on wheels). We joked that when she walked with it, it looked like she had a walker … so sign me up for this kind of walker when my time comes.
