One – This past Tuesday was a free blogger class at Sproing. I took a class there last year, but they have improved it – added more Sproings, and also added the option of wearing a heart rate monitor, which gave feedback on a class board. Pretty neat for someone who loves running by heart rate.

Two – Also on Tuesday, I saw a tweet from Kelly that she brought her running clothes to work for a runch … but forgot shoes. We work across the street from each other, so I tweeted back asking what size she wore, because I not only wore Adrenalines to work that day (that I wouldn’t need until I left the office), but I keep a pair of Mizunos in my desk. Of course BRF’s wear the same size! 🙂 So she stopped by and I loaned her the Adrenalines.
Three – Sunday was my nephew’s first birthday party. It was robot theme, complete with a Rockem Sockem Robots tournament. I beat my mom in round 1 but lost to my aunt in round 2. Also, the party was at the original Aurelio’s which is the only answer to What is the best pizza in Chicago? (Or will be when the South Loop Aurelio’s finally opens.) The Aurelio’s in Homewood has a lot of good memories for my family, going back to my Grandma’s birthdays there in the 1980s.

Four – I finally got on board with the blanket scarf trend. I totally get it. This is super practical. Feeling cold at the office? Want to take a nap? Have an improptu picnic?? Scarf’s got you covered. This thing is totally coming with me when I fly to a work conference in Utah next month. I scored mine on Jane.com – and they’re actually listed again today* at a cheaper price than I paid. I’m tempted to buy more as improtu gifts. I’ve also been buying this cardigan* in multiple colors as of late – actually wearing the “Oatmeal” one today.

Five – There are too many fun burlesque classes being offered in March. I can’t decide if I want to take Fan Dancing on Sundays and Bellydance Burlesque on Wednesdays at Vaudezilla (classes are buy one get one half off) or Bump It Up followed by Teasin’ & Pleasin’ at Studio L’amour on Thursdays. Or all four??? Not sure if my budget can handle that many at once.
These are the days of my life, y’all.
