I haven’t done one of these in awhile, because I haven’t had much to talk about. Damn Polar Vortex (and, well, other stuff).

Monday: 3mi in 30 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes of arms, abs, glutes and stuff at the office fitness center.

Tuesday: Tango class at ARTango. Class is about 1.5 hours long, but I’d only count this as maybe 20-30 minutes of actual dancing.

Wednesday: 2.1mi in 23 minutes before work; 3mi in 30 minutes and 20 minutes of planks and arms and squats in the office fitness center after.

Thursday: 1 hour of Basic Burlesque at Studio L’amour.

Friday: 2.8mi in 30 minutes before work.

Saturday: 6mi in 1 hour on the Lakefront Trail!!! Missed that place.

Sunday: 1 hour of Rock ‘n Roll Burlesque at Vaudezilla; 3.2mi in 32 minutes.

Total Miles: 20
Total Time: 6 1/2 hours

Notes:

  • This was my first 20-mile week in awhile. It’s been cold. My next race is an 8K. I’ve been much more into dance as of late.
  • The hubby-kins and I have been taking tango class together. It’s been fun! Of course the class has more women than men, so we don’t always dance together.
  • So all of our scheduled classes are over, and my burlesque performance is next month. Eek! I’m excited and nervous. Gotta finalize my outfit, and by that I mean get a new bra. And not a sports bra  😉
