2013 has been quite a year for me. The obvious changes are the new job, new apartment, and new life in Chicago. It’s been an amazing year, and I finally made the changes I’ve been wanting to make for awhile. I’m happier and more relaxed than I’ve been in a long time.

[This part is intentionally vague.] I’ve also done a lot of self-reflection this year. Some of it was completely unexpected, and led to some jarring revelations. It’s been quite personal, and I’m still processing all of it, however, it has also been … freeing. I figured out something that has been perplexing me for years. Things are starting to make more sense. But there is no clear way to move forward with all of this. So 2014 might prove to be a bit interesting as well.
