Guest Post: Running Rack Review

Written by the Running Rack giveaway winner, Coresa:

After winning the Running Rack giveaway,  I received an email from Jared of Running Rack asking which medal holder I would like.  I chose the customized holder.

The first thing that impressed me was that Jared promptly sent me a proof of what my holder would look like, and asked if the font was OK.  Even though I never spoke with him, I could tell that if I had walked into a store of his, the environment would be welcoming and friendly. When I looked at the proof, I smiled, it is nice – and it is me.

As I stated previously, for the giveaway, I’ve wanted a medal holder but none of the ones I saw fit who I am or what running means to me.  I was not disappointed when my package arrived. I had shown the proof to my mother. I don’t know who was more excited between the two of us! She was so excited that when it arrived, she opened it while I was out on a run!

When I came in and saw it on the table, I immediately picked it up and did a happy dance.  The shade of purple is so uplifting, purple is my favorite color. I wear it for all my races. I love the rustic look of the wood and the fact that since it has metal hangers on the back, it was ready to be hung.

The best thing about it, for me, is that the words on it are mine. I am new to running so only three of the medals on the display are from my races. I was so happy that I started putting some of my nephew’s medals on it.  As my running journey continues, I will replace them with my own.

I will definitely be purchasing more for myself and others.  I want to thank Jared of Running Rack, my medal holder ROCKS!!  I also want to thank Maggie for so graciously passing this gift along to me.

Thanks for sharing, Coresa! Glad you like your race medal holder, and have fun filling it with your own medals! And thanks again to Jared of Running Rack!
