Stanley Cup parade; getting lost in the woods

Well. This was a great month.

We’ve been in our apartment two weeks and I’ve completed one week of the new job. Both are going well, and I still feel like both were great decisions. But I would like to start to fall into a routine of runs and workouts and making meals and stuff. Not that I’m not having a great time exploring all the food this neighborhood has to offer.

Goals check-in

2013 goals: 

Don’t spend more than $500 on races for 2013. I think Disco Dash was the only registration I paid in June. As of June 30, I was at $370 for 2013′s races.

Run 1,300 miles for the year. RunningAhead.com tells me that I am now 166.8 miles behind my pace bunny. Eh.

Weekly strength workouts. I did zero.

Move out of my parents house. DONE!

Read 12 books. Still haven’t finished Me Talk Pretty One Day. Or any other new books.

June’s goal: Enjoy my new Chicago address! Yup.

July’s goals: Start catching up to that damn pace bunny. Get in a running/workout routine. Start making dinner once in awhile.
