For the second time this month, I’m sick. WTF, body? It seems to be your run-of-the-mill congestion/body aches/fatigue with the occasional fever. Either way, I’m beat. So I’ll be taking an determined number of unplanned rest days. Before I wallow in self-pity … I’ll join Katie’s link-up, and share what I am grateful for right now … my family!
What better way to show off my family (and friends) than pictures from my niece’s birthday party last weekend. My brother & sis-in-law’s daughter just turned three, and they threw her an adorable Ballerina Party at our other sis-in-law’s dance studio, Room To Move Studio. Stuff like this reminds me of how lucky I am to live so close to my family – and how lucky it is that we all get along so well!
There were lots of babies. I’m always glad to see a cute baby.
The perks of having your Ballerina Birthday Party at a dance studio … you get performances from real ballerinas – in this case, Barre None Ballet students and teachers! And a hooper.
She has learned how to blow out her own candles
I am always thankful for my schoopie. He hates having his picture taken, so I think this is his way of hiding from the camera. Or being sweet. Whatev.
Obviously, the cake was delicious. My niece and I are both appreciate good food.
I cannot get enough of this kid! I am grateful for every hug, kiss and cuddle I get from her.
