Training, February 5-11

You probably didn’t notice, but I haven’t posted a training post since the F^3 Lake Half Marathon … because I haven’t really worked out. I took exactly two yoga classes in the two weeks after the race. BUT, this past week I got into my routine, so here you go:

Monday: Megaformer at Studio Lagree

Tuesday: Total Strength at CrossTown Fitness

Wednesday: Vinyasa Yoga at Moksha Yoga

Thursday: Megaformer at Studio Lagree

Friday: Rest

Saturday: 30-minute strength workout with aSweatLife Ambassadors at Reebok Chicago

Sunday: 3.3-mile run in 42 minutes.

Total miles: 3.3
Total time: 5 hours


Not only did I got to Studio Lagree twice in one week, but I unintentionally wore the same top.

On Saturday, aSweatLife put together a workout and photoshoot (in the snow!) for ambassadors. Can’t wait to see how the photos turned out!

Sunday’s run. I had no goal other than getting out there, and ideally covering a least 3 miles.  And not break my phone. (It fell in the snow while trying to take a timed selfie.)

Chance the foster cat is still with us. His eye quickly recovered. He is still very curious and wants to get into everything. We’re constantly chasing him off the kitchen counter, and he is still desperate to play with Olive but she has absolutely zero interest in playing with him, and will still hiss at him despite me putting a “calming collar” on her. (My co-workers suggested we try it.)
