Not sure what to get your favorite runner for Christmas, Hanukkah, birthdays or other special occasions? Check out my suggestions based on my favorite running gear!
Tanks, shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies – there are styles for the whole family on Spreadshirt.
POWWFUL is a Chicago-based, women-owned brand, I’ve met both of the founders and they are wonderful, friendly, nice, compassionate women, and I love that their brand is dedicated to LIFTING and SUPPORTING women. Plus, I love the actual products – the sports bras are soft and I love the bright colors, they have styles that are medium and high impact (yes, I run in some of them!), and I love the cute tanks and tops that show off the bras. I would live in the OMG Top and will probably get it for a couple of my gal pals this holiday season.

For $15 a month, your runner will receive a monthly subscription box to fuel their running adventures. I’ve been receiving StrideBox since July, and I’m a big fan. Pictured is the December StrideBox.

Lifting the Dream was founded by Malia, who claims she is “always chasing the feeling of strength.” Through the fashionable and functional gear, she hopes to empower women and men to value their strength, not just the number they see on the scales. I love my Resting Lift Face tank! It’s currently on sale and would be perfect for any runner who also loves lifting.

The Spoonk Acupressure Mat is great for relaxing yourself or your aching muscles. I have fallen asleep on it. I also like to stand on it (with socks on) to relax my aching feet after a run.
Obviously, this is specific to Chicago-based runners, but I know there are styles out there for other places. Who doesn’t want to wear their local pride on their butt?
I used to have a SpiBelt but switched to a FlipBelt a few years ago and like it so much more. You can see it peeking out under my shirt in the photos above (it’s blue). It lays flat against your body so you can carry your phone, keys, gels, etc, without any bounce. It’s also a great way to carry your phone when doing a circuit at the gym.
A Buff is a great thing to have because you can wear it around your head to keep your ears warm, around your neck to keep the wind from creeping in, and over your face on really cold days. In which case, you probably need more than one Buff.
What are your favorite running things that would make a good gift?
